Author's Note: The way Matthew looks in the Panic Station video just screamed streetwalker to me, so here we are. Title respectfully borrowed from a line in Metric's "Combat Baby" - an amazing track.

"You up for it?"

"Depends on what you want."

"I want you," Dominic replied.

It was true.

He'd had his eye on this particular creature for the last ten days, and nothing was going to stop him from finally getting his hands on him.

Dominic had been living in the city for about three weeks now, adjusting to life on his own far away from his family and friends. The job offer had been too good to pass up for the young reporter, and he reckoned that nerves might be what was prompting him to finally get up the nerve to approach the dark haired beauty that liked to surreptitiously haunt the corner of Seventh and Adams every third night.

The beauty in question was impossibly eclectic, at least, he was, appearance-wise. It was the hair, the spiked, ebony hair that first caught Dominic's attention one night from the back of a cab. That was saying something, because most people, on first glance, merely noticed the jacket. A bright, garish red, it was at once the most fascinating and the most gaudy piece of clothing that Dominic had ever seen. Fluffy and defiantly large, it swallowed the young man completely, which is probably why it made his legs stand out so much.

Dominic was fascinated with those legs.

Always covered in tights of some kind, they were impossibly thin, yet Dominic was certain there was at least a bit of strength to them. Tonight, the fabric covering those legs was multicolored, orange and blue and borderline painful on the eyes. The shoes covering the man's feet were nothing short of ridiculous, a garish pair of platform trainers with a dozen tongues and miles of attitude.

Dominic hadn't been able to think about anything else, truth be told. He found himself wondering how this mystery man spent his days, especially how he spent the nights when he wasn't standing on the corner offering his body up as bait.

More nervous than he wished to admit to himself about his first day of work tomorrow, Dominic had decided that the best thing he could do to take his mind off of things was to seek out a good fuck.

"You want me," the man stated, one elegant eyebrow raising to peek out from behind the sunglasses.

"Yes."

"Be careful what you wish for," the man muttered softly.

The remark made Dominic nervous; he swallowed loudly. "I mean, you're into... men, yeah?"

The sunglasses were removed and a pair of blue eyes lined with kohl bored into his own. "Exclusively."

Dominic nodded, his dick twitching in his trousers. Even though he remained oddly enthralled and aroused by the man in front of him, he couldn't help but ask his next question.

"Why do you wear sunglasses at night? Are you a closet Corey Hart fan, or-"

"Why do you not wear sunglasses at night?" the stranger shot back, mildly amused; Dominic noticed the way the corners of his mouth turned up ever so slightly.

"What's your name?" Dominic continued.

The man cocked his head. "Does it matter?"

"I don't know. It matters to me."

"I could make up any name and you'd never know the difference."

"I guess you could," Dominic replied.

The stranger stared at him and sighed. "It's Matthew," came the reply. "You have interesting eyes."

"Um-"

Matthew took a step forward, eyes scanning Dominic's face, sizing it up as though it were the most fascinating thing he'd ever seen.

"I don't think I've ever seen eyes that shade of grey before."

Dominic thought it was interesting behavior for a prostitute, until he remembered that this was, in the end, nothing but a financial transaction, and of course Matthew would amp up the charm and compliments - after all, it was in his best interests to do so.

"Oh, well, thanks."

"You're welcome," Matthew replied in a bored voice, and the banality of the reply struck Dominic instantly. Matthew lit a cigarette and took a deep drag from it, offering it to Dominic, who declined.

"Trying to quit."

Matthew shrugged.

"So, um, Matthew-"

"Let's take this somewhere a bit more private, yeah?" Matthew said, eyeing a police car that was slowly making its way down the street.

"Okay."

Dominic followed him as he turned down a darkened alley, his eyes glued to the man sashaying in front of him as though he were screaming to the world that his glorious legs and arse was theirs for the taking, for a price.

"You like my legs." The words were presented as a simple statement as opposed to a question. Dominic's face flushed, but he was also curious as to how he'd been found out.

"How did you know I was looking at your legs?"

"I could feel it," Matthew replied easily, continuing down the alley.

"They're kind of skinny."

"That's what all the blokes say at first." Matthew turned around and stared at him, taking another drag from his cigarette.

"At first?"

"Let's just say by the time I've wrapped them around their waists and milked them dry they don't seem to mind."

"Is that what you're going to do to me?" Dominic asked, his pulse speeding up and his crotch tightening even more.

"Would you like me to, bright eyes?" Matthew asked, as though he were genuinely curious. He stepped on the cigarette. "It's your money. You're in control. Are you looking for a fast suck or a nice long fuck, because I can assure you that I'm exceptional at both of those things. So, tell me again, what do you want?"

Matthew's filthy mouth only served to turn Dominic on even more, the mere thought of what was about to transpire between them was making the blond as horny as he'd ever been. Part of Dominic couldn't believe he was even considering indulging with a prostitute but his incredulity was severely tempered by the blood that was rushing to the lower half of his body.

"I-" Dominic seemed to lose his voice, his nerves catching up with him. Luckily for him, though, Matthew merely clasped his hands primly in front of his body as he waited for Dominic to make a decision. He licked his lips, and the sight of the tip of his pink tongue spurred Dominic to action.

"I want it all. Free reign over your body," Dominic admitted.

Matthew's visage darkened. "Free reign?"

"I just... look, it's been a long time, and I just-"

"Why has it been a long time?" Matthew interrupted. "Look at you, how is it possible that you're being forced to pay for sex? Are you into kinky shit or-"

"You really need to stop interrupting people while engaged in a conversation with them, you know," Dominic commented, "it's rude. Besides, it's really none of your fucking business."

Matthew raised an eyebrow once again, merely content to smirk in a maddening, yet arousing, manner.

"Okay, fair enough. But let me be clear: free reign, as you call it, is doable, but there are still a few things you need to remember. If you try to hurt me, I can assure you I have the means to defend myself. Try any nasty shit and I'll be out the door faster than a fucking lightning strike with your balls in my pocket."

"No, no! I'd never hurt you. I just want to be able to touch you, kiss you, you know..."

"I don't usually kiss my customers," Matthew admitted, turning to Dominic, "but, then again, most of my customers don't look like you."

Dominic didn't reply; he was too embarrassed that he was blushing at Matthew's compliment.

"Now, about cost."

"Money isn't an object. I'm tired of talking. Is there a cheap hotel close?" Dominic asked, trying to add a tough edge to his voice.

Matthew merely smiled, motioning for Dominic to follow him down the alley with one long finger.
