21 first lines meme

Nicked from nearly everyone on my Merlin-y f-list  - but I have mixed mine up, some are Matthew/Dominic, some are Merlin/Arthur.  *g*

It's really fun, I'd love to see this take off among my museslash friends as well! :)

The first lines from the last 21 fics I've posted:

Arthur had always loved silver; he much preferred the shine of silver to the luster of gold.

"You got everything you need?"

I remember the precise moment that I lost you for good.

The click of a cigarette lighter brings the interior of the car to life.

They walk hand in hand down the busy street, Merlin leading the way to the Italian restaurant he wants Arthur to experience.

"It's all been for you. All of it."

"Tell me again why I should do this for you?"

It's late at night when Merlin makes his way to Arthur's chambers, so late that surely everyone else in the castle is fast asleep.

"Uncle Merlin!"

It occurred to Arthur, mid-thrust, that the car wasn't really built for such violent (and sweaty) activity.

"Fucking hell," Dominic gasped as his knees were pressed back into the pillow.

Typically, I can restrain myself.

"I can't remember the last time we got to do this."

"Do it."

"What's wrong?"

"What is it?" Matthew says softly, shifting his position on the couch so that his legs are across Dominic's lap.

Shooting of our zombie porn epic has been ongoing now for nearly two weeks.

The boys were forced to come back down to Earth in the weeks following their camping rendezvous.

He blamed it on the suit.

There's nothing better than this.

The tub is over sized, certainly big enough to accommodate the two of them.

Ooooh :D I like this. And since I am addicted to memes I will do it. Is it 21 separate fics or does it mean entries (as in chapters)? I might mix it up, otherwise it's just going to be Melodic and Conscience.

I'm new to writing in the Merlin fandom, so mine would probably be just a huge collection of Bleach fluff :P Not that that's a bad thing but... :)
