You already know how much I adore this chapter, but I'm going to say it again anyway. Their relationship is so warm and alive and precious; I love what you've given them (and us!).
Dominic hums softly, his hands holding me closer while caressing my back. When he whispers that he loves me my heart skips a beat.
I wonder if that happens to him when I'm the one saying those words?

“I’ve never told you this, but when Kelly opened the door to our building and you came out with Paige in your arms, you reminded me of my father in that moment, and it gave me strength. I have no doubt that he would love you, Matthew.”
I know it's already been mentioned, but this is such a beautiful image. Really powerful as well.
I turn to look at him and he's sitting up in bed, one hand outstretched, lower lip extended in a cheeky pout.
"Changed my mind," he whispers. "Come back to bed?"
I think it's great the way they can shift from being serious to silly in the blink of an eye. That feels very real to me. And YAY! for arse smacks and waffles.
