Why would you do that to me? I had an awful day, so I figured I would cheer myself up by reading your latest offerings and now I'm struggling to not just curl up in a corner and sob.
I think it is amazing how two short scenes, in the hands of a writer as gifted as yourself, can tell us so much about the relationship between the two of them. The writing is incredibly subtle and intelligent.
It is bleak and beautiful and incredibly moving. Wonderful stuff, sweetness.
