First - a big hello to my new LJ friends from the Merlin friending meme! I'm so happy you're here! :)
Secondly - Look, I'm right there with the rest of you. We've had, what, nearly five full days to process this video and I'm not sure any of us are any closer to understanding what the hell is going on.
That's okay, though. Some things in life aren't meant to be truly and fully understood, they are simply meant to be embraced. Embraced, while wearing ridiculous clothes, vogue-ing and strutting in a questionable fashion through the streets of a foreign city, and humping an octopus.
The octopus humping is my favorite bit. I'm not even ashamed. \o/
Beneath the cut, a humble offering - twenty six caps from the Panic Station video.
I love they way that, somehow, even in all of this Madness, Christopher, somehow, remains completely cool and badass as always. He just makes it look so easy. He's all "Hmm, how can I be fabulous today? I can either pose seductively by these bikes, or, I could try to find Panic Station. I wonder if they have birth control there?":
And then came, Domaho, I mean Dominic. The cap is cuter than it has any right to be, tbh. He's clearly looking for something, something brunet and silly with a manic giggle and nipples that just don't quit. Or, perhaps he's merely wondering if he's left the oven on. Either way, here's hoping he finds it:
I tried to freeze the moment the lasers come out of his eyes, but VLC Player was being silly, so we'll have his Blue Steel, panty-melting look here instead. I died laughing, not gonna lie:
But, what's this? The sassiest of sassy, disco-posing, ridiculous glasses-wearing, probably-refused-to-wear-a-hat-like-the-other-two bitches has arrived - bow down and behold his fucking awesomeness and lack of fashion sense, dammit:
You heard me. Also, cheekbones alert. Man, I can not stress enough here just how much I STILL WOULD:
Let's talk about the real star of this video. I give you Morgan Nicholls, who, clearly, has balls of pure steel for dressing up as the schoolgirl. Balls. Of. Steel:
Dominic is just as impressed with Morgan as the octopus was in the above shot. So damn funny:
Matthew, meanwhile, wants you to look at him while he continues to mack and pose into the camera. Seriously, the poses the bastard strikes throughout the video are hilarious. I love him so damn much:
But, my little dumpling, I'm sorry, I'm too busy looking at Christopher's thighs in this shot of the conga line. The Conga Line. Let's all pause and let it soak in that we now have a Muse video with a Conga Line...~pauses for effect~... aaaand, we're done:

Dominic, in a shot that was too adorable for words, bids us adieu. No doubt he and Matthew are about to get down to some sexytimes, hence the big smile on his face. I feel certain at this point Christopher organized an intra-species football game, in which he captained one team and Morgan captained the other. The real star of the match, though, was Skippy, who has some wicked leg power and can kick like nobody's business:

But the best part of this video, if you ask me, is when he's SO into it that he punches the air AND SMACKS THE CAP RIGHT OFF DOM'S HEAD. Man, I had to actually pause and collect myself the first time I saw it and I'm SO glad I was able to pause it at the right moment to get Dom's reaction lolol. Oh, man, one of the funniest things I have ever seen:
Then, behold, like something out of a hallucinogen-fueled dream, they've found Panic Station! And it's so brightly painted and decorated that it hurts to even look at it! Who knew?! (No, but really, my eyes):

Smart-ass commentary aside, I just love it. It's silly and funny and I love that they can poke fun at themselves like this. Life's too short not to have fun, and it seems as though they had a blast with this video.
