I love this- the worries about love note inadequacies, Gaius's evil sense of ambiguous humor, and most of all Arthur coming to visit his mom's house- it may be the Dark Ages, but something about that scene feels like middle school and getting your first real kiss. It's really, really sweet. *\o/*
