Yaaaaay! I'm glad this might be more than two or three parts, because it's just brilliant, this first part is gorgeous and even though it's tense and saddening it makes me feel something inside, whereas most fics I just read for enjoyment.
I wanted to just grab Matthew by the shoulders, and shake him into sense. JUST SPEAK TO THE LAD, WILL YOU? TELL HIM YOUR TROUBLES BOY, TELL HIM. There was a tear down my face when
Dominic was at the front door, his overnight bag draped over his shoulder.
I really hope he returns to give Matthew another chance, he deserves it. Somehow.
This was written really beautifully D, it conveys emotion and thought over to the reader, I felt suspense and happiness and sadness and all sorts of feeling while reading this! That's what I think makes a spectacular writer, and you D, are really one of them.
